Success story: Fidelity

Posted in Young people

4 August 2021

Dear TYP donors

My name is Fidelity Mashora and I’m a 30-year-old husband and a father two. I literally grew up at Tariro Youth Project, I joined the Tariro family at the age of 12.

I’m a business school graduate from Midlands State University (2014) and I’m currently working part-time for British Council Zimbabwe, but my interest and passion is more into entrepreneurship.

I’m one of the directors of Switch and Go Enterprise, a company that concentrates on renewable energy (solar energy, LP. Gas etc.) The goal is to be able to grow this enterprise and make an impact in the lives of my fellow countrymen and Africa at large.

Apart from all that, I’m working on my certification as a Certified Fraud Examiner with the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). The interest to pursue this certification has grown over a five-year career experience and the need to not only standardize operating procedures in organizations but to also identify critical control points and develop systems that safeguards the interests of organizations and its employees.

Thank you for believing in the vision and mission of Tariro Youth Project. I’m forever grateful for what Tariro Youth Project has done for me, I’m forever humbled and remain indebted.

Regards

Fidelity Tatenda Mashora
