Success story: Devine

My name is Devine Gomera and l studied motor mechanics at Mupfure Industrial Training College and when l finished college l was employed at Nissan Cloverleaf Motors. On 10 January 2020 I left the TYP family due to work. I was transferred to another branch which is in Victoria Falls. I started working there as a workshop assistant but now l am a workshop technician.
When I think of my career aspirations, I think about what could happen in the next 5 years. I absolutely aspire to have the ability to run my own business, I have a young brother who is studying motor mechanics. I want to be exposed to my current skills more deeply. And then being exposed to new skills in a meaningful way. I could also see this being the ability to manage.
However, leaving the Tariro family behind was never easy for me as l struggled a lot and during my first days in Victoria Falls l would make phone calls to my brothers and sisters. I miss them every day although during holidays l pay them a visit. However, l would like to thank all the donors and the trustees for their support and generosity. I would not be where l am now without you. May the almighty God continue to bless you.
Thank you.
Devine Gomera
